Central Bank Announces Promotions
Central Bank chairman, president and CEO, Luther Deaton, Jr., has announced the promotion of Sheila C. Parks to wealth management officer.
Ms. Parks joined Central Bank in 1977 with the last fifteen years working with employee benefits in the bank's Trust/Wealth Management Department. Her current day-to-day activities include the record keeping for various companies' 401k plans.
A Lexington native, Sheila is a graduate of Bryan Station High School and Midway College receiving her bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She also attended the Cannon Banking School studying Employee Benefits.
An active member in the community, Sheila works with the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government Festival Committee as Treasurer.
Sheila and her husband Larry have two children, Larry Jr. and Khristy and they live in Lexington.
Central Bank is a subsidiary of Central Bancshares, Inc. which operates a total of 19 full service banking centers, 24 ATMs, a mortgage office and insurance agency in Clark, Fayette, Jessamine, Scott and Bath counties. As of December 31, 2002, Central Bancshares' total assets were $1.121 billion.
