Chris McGaughey joins Central Bank

Lexington, KY. -- Central Bank, Geogetown president, Tom Prather, has announced the appointment of Chris McGaughey, mortgage lending officer.

Ms. McGaughey joins Central Bank bringing more than ten years of mortgage lending experience. Her primary responsibility includes working with potential and existing clients, realtors and builders throughout Central Kentucky. Chris will work at both Georgetown locations, 100 West Main Street and 410 Connector Road, off Cherry Blossom Way.

Ms. Mcgaughey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Economics and Psychology at Indiana University. She is an affiliate member of The Lexington Board of Realtors and has served as Executive Operating Committee and Vice-Chair for REACH, Inc.

Chris and her husband Craig have one daughter, Alex.

Construction has begun on the permanent banking center at 410 Connector Way. The full service facility will feature a customer lobby, three drive-in lanes, a drive-up ATM and convenient customer hours. Completion is expected by mid-year.

Central Bank, Georgetown is a subsidiary of Central Bancshares, Inc. which operates a total of 19 full service banking centers, 25 ATMs, an insurance agency and a mortgage origination office in Clark, Fayette, Jessamine, Scott and Bath counties. As of December 31, 2003, Central Bancshares' total assets were $1.244 billion.
