Ernie Dolihite named president of Salt Lick Deposit Bank


Owingsville, KY. – Salt Lick Deposit Bank Chairman, Luther Deaton, Jr., has announced the appointment Ernest W. Dolihite to president of Salt Lick Deposit Bank.

Mr. Dolihite has been the interim president of the bank since November 2004. He has been the manager of Central Bank's consumer loan department since 1983. Mr. Dolihite commented on this position, stating, "It is extremely exciting to permanently join Salt Lick Deposit Bank. With our resources in products we can offer and most importantly our staff, we position ourselves to help the community with all of their banking needs."

Mr. Deaton noted, "With Ernie's vast experience and his work with the bank these past few months, I am confident in saying that Salt Lick Deposit Bank has a great president."

Salt Lick Deposit Bank is a subsidiary of Central Bancshares Inc. which operates a total of 22 full service banking centers, 27 ATMs, a mortgage office and insurance agency in Bath, Clark, Fayette, Jefferson, Jessamine and Scott counties. As of March 31, 2005, Central Bancshares' total assets were $1.352 billion.
