Central Bank names D. Keith Preston Vice President – Retail Officer


Lexington, KY. -- Central Bank chairman, president and CEO, Luther Deaton, Jr., has announced the appointment of D. Keith Preston to vice president – retail banking officer at the bank's main lobby at 300 West Vine Street.

Mr. Preston joins Central Bank bringing over nineteen years of banking experience. Mr. Preston's responsibilities include overseeing the Main Lobby with its business development, consumer and commercial loans, coaching, sales, staff management and community involvement.

A native of Danville, Kentucky, Mr. Preston is a graduate of Bryan Station High School before receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. In addition, he received several degrees from the Kentucky Bankers Association including, Essentials of Banking School, General Banking School and School of Lending Principles.

An active member of the community, Mr. Preston is a Board Member with the Liberty Ridge Assisted Living, and works with the Lexington Kiwanis Club and Junior Achievement.

Keith and his wife Ann have three children, Matthew, Daniel and Andrew, and they live in Lexington.
