Paul R. Thornsberry joins Central Bank
Lexington, KY. -- Central Bank chairman, president and CEO, Luther Deaton, Jr., has announced the appointment of Paul R. Thornsberry to vice president-commercial mortgage lending.
Mr. Thornsberry joins Central Bank, bringing more than sixteen years of experience with the majority of those in lending. Mr. Thornsberry’s day-to-day activities will include making construction, development and commercial mortgage loans.
A native of Hindman, Kentucky, Mr. Thornsberry is a graduate of Knott County Central High School and Alice Lloyd College receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
An active member of the community, Mr. Thornsberry is involved with several community groups including: President, Richmond Bluegrass Rotary; and a board member for both The United Way of Madison County and The Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Madison County.
Paul and his wife Lisa have two children, Ashlee and Tanner and they live in Richmond.
Central Bank is a subsidiary of Central Bancshares Inc. which operates a total of 19 full service banking centers, 25 ATMs, a mortgage office and insurance agency in Clark, Fayette, Jessamine and Scott counties. As of September 30, 2004, Central Bancshares' total assets were $1.290 billion.
