Central Bank of Jefferson County Names Commercial and Mortgage Officers

Louisville, KY. - Central Bank of Jefferson County President, James Clay Smith, has announced the promotion of Jason Hughes as Commercial Lending Officer and the hiring of Cannon Hill as Mortgage Lending Officer for Paul Karem Mortgage, a division of Central Bank.

Jason Hughes has been in banking since 1995 and has held positions such as Financial Analyst and Credit Analyst. As a Commercial Lending Officer, Mr. Hughes will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small to mid-size businesses with lending needs. Mr. Hughes has received a Bachelors of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Louisville.

As Mortgage Loan Officer, Cannon Hill has the current responsibility of originating loans for Paul Karem Mortgage. Her previous experience includes working with mortgages in Knoxville and Memphis, Tennessee. Ms. Hill has an Arts and Sciences degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Central Bank of Jefferson County is a subsidiary of Central Bancshares Inc., which currently operates a total of 25 full service banking centers, 28 ATMs, two mortgage offices, an insurance agency and an investment office in Bath, Boone, Clark, Fayette, Jefferson, Jessamine, Madison, and Scott counties.
