Central Bank names E. Sean Profitt Technology Applications Officer

Lexington, KY. -- Central Bank chairman, president and CEO, Luther Deaton, Jr., has announced the promotion of E. Sean Profitt to technology applications officer.
Mr. Profitt joined Central Bank in 1997 as balance and verification technician. He has since held positions such as new loan clerk, office automation specialist and system analyst before this latest promotion. His responsibilities include management and oversight of the organization’s information system application support including configuration, deployment, customized programming and reporting. In addition, Sean oversees the information security administration function as well as serves as the bank’s Intranet Webmaster.
Sean and his wife Kelly have one child, Grace, and they live in Lexington.
Central Bank is a subsidiary of Central Bancshares Inc. which operates a total of 22 full service banking centers, 27 ATMs, a mortgage office and insurance agency in Clark, Fayette, Jefferson, Jessamine, Scott and Bath counties. As of March 31, 2005, Central Bancshares' total assets were $1.352 billion.
