Fraud Alerts Via Text for Debit Cards
About Fraud Text Alerts for Debit Cards
As of August 28, 2017 Central Bank will be adding a text message fraud alert system.
In the past, when suspicious transactions occurred (such as purchases in unexpected places), we’d let you know with a phone call. Now, if you choose to enroll, you’ll be notified via text message. You’ll also be able to respond to let us know if a transaction was legitimate or fraudulent.
So what do you need to do?
It’s simple. If we have a valid mobile number on file for you, you’ll receive a text message on or around August 28 . This message will you give you the option to enroll in our new text message fraud alert system.
If you reply “STOP”, you’ll continue to receive fraud alerts via phone calls.
